Corporate Entertainment Specialists
Centrestage is a live entertainment company based in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape, South Africa. Centrestage was started by Gary and Tanya Hemmings in 1997. In 2016, comedian Gino Fabbri joined as a partner.
Gary has created and staged over 200 shows for the PE and East London public, as well as creating numerous exciting entertainment packages for corporate functions throughout South Africa.
They remain passionate about identifying and nurturing Eastern Cape talent and creating ongoing working opportunities to develop our local celebrities.
During Covid, Gino and Gary created the long-form online local interview show Gino's Spot. The show is still running, nearing 450 interviews with PE celebrities, businessmen and story tellers.
In September 2024, Centrestage teamed up with PE's premier technical and events company Lineout Productions to open Centrestage@Baywest.
