Sexy AND sassy, the supremely talented Tara-Jane Metzler quickly grabbed the limelight and catapulted herself to become one of the strongest fronting entertainers in the Centrestage stable.

Her partnership with musical chameleon and comedian Gino Fabbri has spawned some of the most endearingly popular Centrestage shows, including The Gino and Tara show ,The Anything Can Happen show, the zany musical detective spoof The Unusual Suspects and their most recent collaboration, the critically acclaimed The Libido Loco Roadshow  (see press cuttings).

This latest spoof of consumerism sees Tara as at ease in the theatrical acting arena as she is belting out rock n roll harmonies.

Her role as sex kitten Virgina Rump (Don't Tell Mama and My Aphrodisiac is You) and the drinking old bat Gwendolyn (I Can Cook, Anything You Can Do and Lets Do It) shows up her own superb comic instincts.

Mezler is a cast member of a number of Centrestage shows, including That Rollicking Rock n Roll show and Awesome Powers spoof For Your Thighs Only , where she entices audiences to sit up and observe her unique stage presence and gripping voice.

Along with Donna Africa, Tara-Jane is set to front the new Abba extravaganza Absolutely Abba! in November 2005.

Often described as "dynamite" and "dynamic", the 29 year-old petite blonde-bombshell, with her demure manner, versatility and ubër sexy presence, has the ability to lift a potentially reserved audience up and out of their seats and to blow them away with her engaging personality.

She possesses the rare quality of coming across as both helpless-maiden (Everybody's Girl, Oh Babe What Would You Say, I Only Want to Be With You) and super-seductive temptress (If You're Good To Mamma, Whatever Lola Wants). Women love her voice while men love everything about her. This pint-sized artiste is dynamite on stage, and she is not afraid to get right into the audience and onto laps if required!

Songs such as the Shrek version of Holding Out for A Hero, I'm Alive, I Love Rock 'n Roll and I Drove All Night keep an audience glued to the dancefloor, while her plaintive interpretations of Leave Right Now and Don't Know Why are deeply moving.

As the ditsy blonde Dixie 'Normous, Metzler's naive fluttering eyes are put to good use in songs such as Hanky Panky and Baby Its Cold Outside, where she is the perfect foil for Fabbri's eccentric Awesome Powers.

Playing the roles of twin sisters poles apart in The Unusual Suspects , Metzler's theatre training comes to the fore as she plays both "ice maiden" Ricky Demeanor and "lady of the night" Roxy Hart to great critical acclaim.

Along with Buli G and Donna Africa, Tara is also a member of the all-girl group The Sensations, whose shows Sisters are Doing it for Themselves and Sensational! The New Divas both proved extremely popular. Her roles in Showstoppers!, A Kind of Magic and It Takes Two which she performs with Melvyn Matthews also serve to broaden her appeal and experience.

Tara also performs a quiet, sophisticated set of background music as well as a great party set in her solo capacity.
