Events co-ordinator LeJeandrevonne Rensburg is besieged by misfortune as he tries to launch his new libido-enhancing product in the new Centrestage music-comedy The Libido Loco^TM Roadshow

Subtitled The Unfortunate Incompetence of LeJeandrevonne Rensburg (LJ), the show features Gino Fabbri and Tara-Jane Metzler in the guise of LJ's hapless recruits who destroy proceedings in a spectacular manner, much to his ever-increasing outrage and embarrassment!

Directed by top PE director Robin Williams and scripted by Gino Fabbri and Centrestage owner Gary Hemmings, the show is a musical comedy take-off on consumerism which is peppered by a host of colourful and eccentric characters.

LJ's highly camp, short-tempered and condescending approach do not help as things start going wrong - and his aging side-kick, Rear Admiral Winifred Rump, along with his alcoholic wife, only make things worse as they try to sell their Viagra-styled product.


Having made the mistake of cutting budgets too drastically and surrounding himself by highly incompetent staff, LJ's launch is plagued by guest speakers whose testimony is not as impressive as anticipated and make-shift plans which fall well short of their intentioned goals!

Thus the scientific credentials of Walter Pilenkompf and his assistant Nurse Titsiana, whose 40 year stint in a bunker hiding from aliens has wasted his muscles and left him unable to hold up his own head, are somewhat in dispute.

Along the way we meet the not too bright Kimberly Dominoes rugby "star" Elvis Kroukamp, who treats audiences to a dissertation on the "parraletics" between life and rugby, his equally dim wife Patricia, hippies Lentil and Celery Visagie, Latin Lover Minuto Peniso and golf caddie Gatiep Williams, who stands in for Gary Player after the sporting legend suffers a tragic bout of diarrhea.

The Libido Loco^TM Roadshow sees Gino Fabbri extending his chameleon-like talents into the realm of stand-up comedy - playing opposite him is the attractive, highly experienced Tara-Jane Metzler.

The show takes in popular songs such as I am What I am (I am Not a Sham), Anything You Can Do, If You Wanna Be Happy, Monster Mash, I Wanna Be Loved By You, Earth Girls Are Easy, I Got You Babe, I Will Survive, Don't Tell Mama, My Aphrodisiac is You, I Feel Good and many others.

The Fabbri-Metzler-Hemmings-Williams combination were also responsible for the murder mystery spoof The Unusual Suspects and The Italian Odd-Job.
