Andre is comfortable playing a range of instruments, including bass, guitar, drums and keyboards. but it is his striking voice, boyish charms, convivial get-up-and-dance personality and constant energy and which sets him apart.

While Andre's personal musical preference is routed strongly in the 70's, his all-round repertoire draws from crooning classics performed in the big band salute "Me and My Shadows" and the Radio Algoa/Centrestage production Crooning Down Memory Lane" to rock n roll favourites performed in Centrestage's "Rocking Down Memory Lane" and "That Rollicking Rock n Roll Party. Andre has a flair for many of the "golden oldies", and delivers endearing renditions of past classics.

Andre plays bass in the ever-enchanting Bob Marley tribute "Lively Up Yourself" and keyboards as part of the Melvyn Matthews Ultimate Dance Band. He is also a cast member of the Carribbean Latin Summer Beach Party show.

Andre's very own critically acclaimed Bee Gees show Staying Alive proved immensely popular in the Eastern Cape, where his musical integrity was given full opportunity to shine.

From these roots, he convincingly performs a magic Bee Gee's medley, handling the unique falsetto sound with impressive ease. His Beach Boy's, Elton John, Abba, Cliff Richard and Rolling Stones medley's are accurately rendered, with renditions of Mr Bass Man, Volare, That's Amore, Quando Quando, Can't Take My Eyes Off You, She's a Lady, Mr Bojangles, Copacabana, Ballroom Blitz, Sweet Caroline, Robbie William's Feel, sincerely performed.

Having played for many years for The Sapphires - a Cliff Richard and the Shadows tribute band, Andre has also played with South African folk icon Andre De Villiers (the musician responsible for THAT Volkswagen song, "I remember the days of my life.". In 1994, Andre released a song called "I Won't Let You Go" with the band "Steel" which received much Radio Algoa airtime.

Andre often joins Tara-Jane Metzler on stage for duets such as Separate Lives and I Finally Found Someone, and often appears with Gino and Tara when a warm, engaging stage personality is required.
